| Olanchito
is a small village located in a valley in the department of
Yoro. We host language programs in Olanchito which includes
participants from surrounding rural villages. We launched our
first program there in June 2004 with 23 deaf participants.
This was the most highly attended first language program SofL
has ever had. We are excited to see the deaf in Olanchito learn
sign language & the many opportunities that will unfold
before them. |
