Roatan is an island off the northern coast of Honduras and is world renowned for its diving. For Signs of Love, it is renowned for its deaf people. We serve 18 deaf people on the island, but because of budget constraints, we’ve had to temporarily suspend our programs.  We anticipate ongoing language programs so the deaf can flourish, and be all God intends them to be!  Deaf are treated horribly on this island.  They are referred to as “The Dummies,” and we even found one deaf man caged.  There is much work to be done on this island.  Your involvement is desperately needed for us to reach & love the deaf on Roatan.
