Elixir is a small village bordering the Aguan Valley. We host language programs in Elixir where deaf people convene from 2 outlying villages, Carbajal and Las Piedras. Our programs are usually attended by 10 deaf people and upwards to 15 hearing people.  It is exhilarating watching the changes that are being made in the lives of the deaf from these villages.  Two of these people were degraded to having lives of ‘slaves,’ and now all of that has changed! They are treated with respect and love, and maintain a sense of worth in the home!  Lives changed is what we are all about.
